How to get there

AIRLINES
Several airlines operate daily flights between most UK airports and Faro in the Algarve. The following is a list of airlines and the airports they fly from. However, some services are seasonal and they are all subject to change. Please check with the airlines for up-to-date information.

CAR HIRE
Although it is possible to hire a car in Lagos, it is much cheaper to hire it in the UK. Holiday Autos www.holidayautos.co.uk is one of the companies that offer cheap car hire. They work with several of the major car hiring companies in the world (Europcar, Sixt, etc). The site www.travelsupermarket.com allows you to compare prices offered by several car hiring companies. Hiring a car for the whole length of the holiday is not essential, but it will give you the freedom to go beyond Lagos when and how you want to do it.

If you decide you do not want to hire a car, there are taxi companies that operate between Faro's airport and Lagos and provide transport to the apartment. If you need further information about these, please ask us.

Train Information

The site www.cp.pt gives all the information necessary to plan your trip by train. On the top right hand side of the Home Page you can change the language from PT (Portuguese) to EN (English).
